This study aimed to identify the role of the Physical Education course in developing some physical abilities and basic skills in team sports (handball, basketball, and volleyball) among female students of the Classroom Teacher Department at the Faculty of Education, Qasr Bin Ghashir. The descriptive survey method was used, and the sample consisted of (75) female students from the seventh and eighth semesters. Various physical and skill tests were applied, and the data were statistically analyzed using the SPSS program to determine standard scores and normative levels. The results showed that most students were classified within the weak and average levels in most physical abilities and basic skills, while a small number of students achieved good and very good levels due to their participation in sports clubs or the college team. The study concluded that there is a clear weakness in the physical and skill performance of the students and recommended continuous assessment, increasing practical training sessions, using standardized scores in evaluation, and focusing on developing physical abilities as a foundation for improving skill performance.
