Abstract

Study Summary:
The study aimed to evaluate the financial structure and its impact on the profitability of Sahara Bank. The study sample consisted of all components of Sahara Bank's financial structure during the period from 2000 to 2023, totaling (24) twenty-four years. The study hypotheses were tested using the OLS estimator. The study concluded that there is a positive correlation of 46.6% and 64.1% between return on assets, debt, and equity. The study also concluded that there is a positive correlation of 50.8% and 36.4% between debt and equity. Sahara Bank's financial structure, represented by debt and equity combined, had a significant impact and significant explanatory power, representing 45.6% and 25.8%, respectively, of the return on assets and return on equity.
