Organizational Health in Light of Some Personal and Functional Variables : A Field Study on Principals and Vice Principals of Public Basic Education Schools in Derna City

The study aims to identify the level of organizational health in public primary schools in Derna city, from the following dimensions: goal setting, problem suitability, strong friendly relationships, morale, organizational values, resource utilization, emphasis on scientific aspects, autonomy, as well as knowing whether there are significant differences in the opinions of participants about organizational health and its dimensions due to some personal and functional variables. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was followed, and a questionnaire was used to collect data. The study concluded that the practice of organizational health in primary schools under study was high, and the study also showed that there are no significant differences in the averages of organizational health due to the personal and functional variables under study, except for the dimension of goal setting according to years of service and in favor of the category of service (from 5 years). Finally, the study presented a set of recommendations that are hoped to be followed to enhance the level of organizational health in the studied primary schools."
