Manuscript Submission Requirements – Journal of the Faculty of Languages, University of Tripoli
The Journal of the Faculty of Languages at the University of Tripoli is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal. All research is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits the sharing and adaptation of published works, provided the author is appropriately credited. To ensure publication quality, researchers must adhere to the following requirements:
- Originality and Legal Responsibility: Authors guarantee that the manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere or submitted simultaneously to another journal or conference. Authors assume full legal liability for any copyright or intellectual property disputes, indemnifying the Journal against all resulting legal consequences.
- Authorship Standards: Authors must be listed in descending order of their contribution. If the research is funded by any institution, the funding source must be clearly acknowledged within the paper.
- Derived Research: Research derived from academic theses is accepted provided that substantive revisions and restructuring are conducted. The original source must be disclosed upon submission, and no part of the manuscript should have been previously published in a refereed journal.
- Ethics and Scientific Integrity: The Journal maintains a strict policy against plagiarism. Any form of academic fraud or plagiarism is considered an academic crime, which will lead to the rejection or retraction of the manuscript, potential debarment from future submissions, and formal notification to relevant academic bodies.
- Submission Protocol: Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively via the Journal’s online system (OJS) in (Word) format, strictly adhering to the Journal’s official template. A submission request form, signed by all authors (hand-signed or electronically), must accompany the manuscript. Adherence to the Journal’s template is a prerequisite for passing the initial screening stage.
