Faculty of Languages Journal-University of Tripoli
The Journal of the Faculty of Languages is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Languages at University of Tripoli, Libya. It is issued biannually and is dedicated to publishing original academic research and scholarly studies in the fields of languages, linguistics, translation, literature, and cultural studies. The journal welcomes submissions from researchers and academics from Libya and abroad.
The journal publishes research in six languages: Arabic, English, French, Italian, Russian, and Spanish, reflecting its academic commitment to multilingualism, intellectual openness, and the promotion of cultural and scholarly dialogue across languages and cultures.
The journal follows an open-access policy, whereby all published articles are freely available for reading and downloading without any fees. This supports the dissemination of knowledge and enhances academic research accessibility. All published works are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits use, distribution, adaptation, and reproduction for any lawful purpose, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author and source, and any modifications are clearly indicated.
The journal does not charge authors any fees for submission, peer review, or publication. All publication-related costs are covered by the university in support of scientific research and open-access publishing.
Authors retain full intellectual property rights to their published work. They are required to disclose any financial or institutional support related to their research, as well as any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the study or its findings. The journal also maintains a strict privacy policy to ensure the confidentiality and protection of personal data relating to authors, reviewers, and readers, and such data is not used outside the context of scholarly publishing.
