The present study aimed to identify the level of shyness among some players participating in the African Clubs Taekwondo Championship, and to examine whether there were statistically significant differences in the participants' responses regarding their level of shyness according to the study variables (educational qualification and years of experience)
The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach, as it was deemed appropriate for the nature of the research problem The study population consisted of players participating in the African Clubs Taekwondo Championship A purposive sample of 19 players was selected A Shyness Scale Questionnaire was used as the study instrument to measure the participants' level of shyness
The findings revealed that the overall level of shyness among the players was moderate, with a mean score of 180 and an agreement percentage of 6000% The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the participants' responses regarding their level of shyness attributable to the study variables (educational qualification and years of experience)
