The State of the Interpreting Profession in Libya: A Survey-Based Study

تستقصي هذه الدراسة الوضع الراهن لمهنة الترجمة الفورية في ليبيا، استنادًا إلى استجابات خمسة عشر مترجمًا فوريًّا ممارسًا. وتتناول التحصيل العلمي، والاعتماد المهني، وسنوات الخبرة، وأساليب الترجمة الفورية، والتطوير المهني المستمر، والانتساب المؤسسي، وطبيعة التوظيف، وتقييم الأداء، والتوليفات اللغوية. وتكشف النتائج عن مهنةٍ تعتمد غالبًا على التعلّم الذاتي وتفتقر إلى الاعتراف الرسمي: إذ لا يحمل معظم المستجيبين مؤهلاً متخصصًا، ولا يحمل 80% منهم شهادة مهنية معتمدة، ويفتقر 60% إلى انتساب لجمعية مهنية. ومع ذلك، يفيد 40% منهم بخبرة تتجاوز عشر سنوات، ويشارك 46.7% بانتظام في التطوير المهني. ويظل التوليف العربي-الإنجليزي الأكثر هيمنة بنسبة 86.7%. وتختتم الدراسة بتوصيات لتعزيز الاعتماد المهني
