The Level of Female Students’ Satisfaction with Academic Advising Services at the Faculty of Education, University of Tripoli

Abstract
This study aimed to identify the level of satisfaction among female students at the Faculty of Education, University of Tripoli, regarding the academic advising services provided to them, and to examine whether there were statistically significant differences in satisfaction levels according to academic division. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach due to its suitability for the nature and objectives of the research. The study sample consisted of 567 female students from various humanities and applied disciplines at the Faculty of Education, selected using a simple random sampling method. Data were collected through a questionnaire designed to measure students’ satisfaction with academic advising services. The instrument demonstrated high levels of validity and reliability.
The findings revealed that the overall level of student satisfaction with academic advising services was high, with a mean score of 50.96 and a relative weight of 72.81%. The results also indicated statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) attributable to academic division, in favor of students enrolled in humanities departments compared with those in applied departments.
Based on these findings, the study recommends strengthening academic advising programs, enhancing communication channels between advisors and students, providing specialized training for academic advisors, and utilizing modern technologies to improve the quality and effectiveness of academic advising services, thereby increasing student satisfaction.
