Challenges in Implementing E-Learning from the Perspective of Faculty Members at the Faculty of Education, Misurata University
Main Article Content
Abstract
The study aimed to identify the difficulties in employing E-learning from the perspective of faculty members at the Faculty of Education. It also sought to identify differences in the level of these difficulties based on the variables (years of experience, specialization).
The researchers adopted the exploratory descriptive approach. The sample size consisted of (100) faculty members selected through simple random sampling. The researchers relied on a questionnaire, developed by Mansur, AL-Sadiq, and Khalaf Allah (2021), as a tool for data collection.
The questionnaire consisted of (27) items presented across three axes: (Administrative Obstacles, Obstacles related to faculty members, and Obstacles related to E- learning).
The researchers used the arithmetic mean, an independent samples T- test, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov T-test to assess data normality, and a one-sample T-test as statistical processing methods.
The results of the study revealed that the level of difficulties in employing e-learning was moderate. Furthermore, there were no statistically significant differences in the research samples estimates of the overall degree of differences in employing e-learning at the Faculty of Education, University of Misurata, based on the variables (years of experience, specialization).
