The ruling on electronic zakat and its role in governing zakat distribution and achieving the objectives of Sharia in social finance

Abstract

        This research focused on clarifying the ruling on distributing and disbursing Zakat funds to those entitled to them according to electronic systems and their practical tools. It also aimed to propose suggestions for new methods of distributing Zakat that achieve Islamic social development financing along with highlighting the economics of electronic tools that achieve governance of zakat distribution to combat administrative and financial corruption and achieve the objectives of its legislation. The study relied on the descriptive approach, the deductive jurisprudential approach, the analytical approach, and the inductive approach to follow up on issues related to the topic. The study reached several conclusions and identified several recommendations in this regard.
